All the presidents of Lebanon throughout history : The President of the Lebanese Republic is the head of state in Lebanon, a person who is elected by Parliament for a presidential term of six years. One of the most important conditions that the president must fulfill is that he be a Christian. The following is a list of all the presidents in the history of the state of Lebanon.

Since the establishment of the office of the President in Lebanon in 1926, a number of personalities have come to power, including 13 presidents since the establishment of the independent republic on November 22, 1943.
The president has a wide range of powers, including appointing the entire government, selecting cabinet ministers, and maintaining the constitution jointly with the prime minister.
Charles Debbas is the first to hold the position of president. He is a politician born in the Syrian city of Damascus, belongs to the Orthodox community, and took office from September 1, 1926 until January 2, 1934.
The first to hold the position of President in the Republic was Bechara El Khoury, a Lebanese politician belonging to the Maronite community who held the position of President in 1943, and remained President of the country until 1952.
