India is a land of diversity, art and culture, and all of this is reflected in some of the country's seven wonders, including one of the modern Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal.

Harmandir Sahib temple in Punjab

A temple located in the city of Punjab is considered the holiest site for Sikhs in the world, and is world famous for its copper domes and architecture, which was greatly influenced by Islamic architecture.

Every day, the temple receives nearly 100,000 visitors at prime time, and is open to audiences of all faiths.

Tourists are required to remain calm during their tours inside the temple to avoid any disturbance to the Sikhs while performing their prayers that need the utmost calm.

Bahubali in Karnataka

A gigantic 160-foot-high statue depicting Lord Bahubali who is considered one of the most important leaders in Jainism, is located 95 km from Mysore Airport.

The Mahamastacaphishek festival takes place once every 12 years, in which devotees clean and wash the statue with milk and saffron to maintain its luster and shine.
