Oracle, the world's second-largest producer, has suspended work in Russia

Oracle decided to stop its activities in Russia as a sign of support for Ukraine. At the end of February, an armed conflict began between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. For what period Oracle has frozen the work in Russia, is not specified.

Oracle's assets in addition to Java and RDBMS include, among others, the Weblogic application server, various business applications, customer relationship management (CRM) systems; its developments are used, for example, in the banking system. Oracle is second only to Microsoft in terms of software revenue.

Earlier, other Western companies also suspended their work in the Russian Federation due to the events in Ukraine: for example, the largest Hollywood studios postponed the release of films for an indefinite period.
