President Volodymyr Zelensky called on the Russian invaders to surrender to Ukrainian captivity in order to save their lives. He announced this in a video message on Facebook.
"I want to tell Russian soldiers, those who have already entered our land and who are just about to be sent to fight. Especially the conscripts, officers: you will not take anything from Ukraine. I know that you want to survive. We hear in the intercepts that you really think about this war, about this shame. Therefore, I offer you a choice: if you surrender, we will treat you the way people should be treated. The way your army does not treat you. Choose, "said Zelensky.
The President recalled that in the 19 days of the war against Ukraine, Russia has lost more soldiers than in two long-term wars with Chechnya. Now the invaders are confused and used to believe their propaganda, Zelensky says.
According to him, now the Russians are fleeing the battlefield and abandoning their equipment. Now the Russian army is one of the suppliers of equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Zelensky stressed.
