A new HUAWEI smartphone featured in a TV ad, making its specs and design leaked online. The device, which is expected to debut under the name nova 9 SE, will be the brand's first device with a 108-megapixel main camera, while it will be presented in the middle price segment.
According to available information, the smartphone will be equipped with a 6.78-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2388x1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a 16 MP front camera embedded in the top center. The “heart” of the novelty will be the eight-core Snapdragon 665 processor with a maximum clock frequency of 2.2 GHz and support for 4G networks. The device will be presented in a single memory configuration of 8/128 GB without a microSD slot.
The rear camera module of the smartphone will include a 108-megapixel main image sensor, an 8-megapixel auxiliary with ultra-wide-angle optics, as well as a macro module and a depth sensor (both 2 megapixels). The global version of the device will presumably be running EMUI 12 firmware based on Android 11. The battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh with support for 68-watt fast charging will be responsible for the autonomy of the new product.
The HUAWEI nova 9 SE is expected to be available in silver, blue and black for between €250 and €280. The date of the presentation of the new smartphone by the manufacturer has not yet been announced.
