Google Pixel 6a specs confirmed by benchmark

The piggy bank of rumors about the new "state employees" of Google has been replenished with data from a reliable source. The Pixel 6a has been listed on Geekbench, revealing its key hardware specs. In addition, insiders called the expected date of the announcement of the device.

According to the benchmark, the smartphone will be built on the basis of the proprietary Tensor GS101 processor. The CPU will include two “large” Cortex-X1 cores clocked at 2.80 GHz, a pair of productive Cortex-A76 (2.25 GHz) and four energy-efficient (1.8 GHz). The SoC's multimedia capabilities will be handled by the Mali-G78 graphics chip. The tested instance had 6 GB of RAM.

In disciplines with a load on one and all processor cores, the gadget scored 1050 and 2883 points, respectively. The date of the presentation of Pixel 6a by the company has not yet been announced, but it is expected that it will be presented in May at the annual Google I/O event. The novelty is credited with a 6.2-inch display, a 12.2-megapixel Sony IMX363 main camera and an additional 12-megapixel Sony IMX396 sensor with wide-angle optics.

Google itself does not disclose technical specifications, the premiere date and the price of the new smartphone.
