Microsoft is still experimenting with a new interface in Windows 11. Information has appeared on the network that the Explorer interface has been updated in the Insider Assembly.
The latest preview build of Windows 11 brings the long-awaited tabs, according to testers, and according to Rafael River, this feature is hidden from the user's eyes. Once activated, tabs appear at the top of the File Explorer app, allowing you to open multiple folders in the same window.
Previously, Microsoft almost implemented this feature with the now-deprecated Sets UX, which introduced tabs in every application window, including File Explorer. But the idea was not destined to materialize after Windows Sets was sent for revision.
