TCL brought to MWC 2022 a series of TCL 30 smartphones, which included five models at once. All of them are presented in the middle price segment and are notable for capacious batteries, balanced hardware, as well as advanced mobile shooting capabilities.
All brand new items are equipped with AMOLED displays with Full HD + resolution. TCL 30, TCL 30+ and TCL 30 models are equipped with 6.7-inch panels, while TCL 30 SE and 30 E received more compact 6.52" matrices with a small notch. Smartphones also support TCL's proprietary NXTVISION technology and have been certified certified by TÜV Rheinland to improve screen quality and protect eyes from blue light.
Each of the devices is equipped with a capacious battery: 5000 mAh for TCL 30 SE and TCL 30 E, and 5010 mAh for TCL 30 5G, TCL 30+ and TCL 30. Gadgets also support 18W power supply technology and AI analysis-based charging mode to extend battery life. Another feature of the TCL 30 and 30+ models is stereo speakers, which will be useful for fans of streaming video and mobile gaming.
The manufacturer paid special attention to the possibilities of shooting new smartphones. TCL 30 5G, TCL 30+, TCL 30 and TCL 30 SE are equipped with a triple camera with a main sensor of 50 MP (f / 1.85), and TCL 30 E has a dual camera with a similar main module. In addition, TCL 30 5G and TCL 30+ have 8MP wide-angle front cameras.
The proprietary camera app supports Steady Snap for sharply capturing moving subjects, AI HDR for automatic exposure adjustment, Low Light HDR for well-balanced shots in low light, and One Shot to provide different types of images from a single shot. The software algorithm also recognizes up to 22 types of scenes, setting the optimal settings.
The “heart” of the base TCL 30 model was the MediaTek Helio G37 processor, which supports a 4/64 GB memory configuration. The manufacturer will announce the specifications of the remaining smartphones of the new series later. The TCL 30+ and 30 are available in Muse Blue and Tech Black, while the TCL 30 5G is available in Dreamy Blue and Tech Black. The TCL 30 SE and 30 E are available in Gray and Blue, while the TCL 30 SE is also available in Glacial Blue.
