Another novelty of today's big Xiaomi presentation is the 12X smartphone. This is a more affordable version of Xiaomi 12: with a different processor and devoid of some of the chips of the older model.
Externally, the Xiaomi 12X is completely identical to the regular Xiaomi 12, including all sizes. It is lighter by a few grams, which may be due to the lack of a wireless charging coil. It has the same screen, with a 12-bit OLED matrix that supports refresh rates up to 120 Hz. The camera is also unchanged - the main one is 50 megapixels with a Sony IMX766 sensor and optical image stabilization.
The key differences between 12X and 12 are the Snapdragon 870 processor instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the lack of wireless and, as a result, reverse charging. Even the more affordable model lacks CyberFocus intelligent focusing technology.
