OneWeb satellites launched from Baikonur into orbit

All OneWeb satellites launched on Monday from the Baikonur launch site have been successfully launched into orbit. The state corporation "Roscosmos" announced this on its Twitter account.

"All 36 OneWeb communications satellites have successfully separated from the Fregat upper stage and launched into target orbits," the publication says.

The Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with British satellites launched from Baikonur at 16:10 Moscow time. Ten minutes later, the separation of the orbital block with spacecraft occurred.

The current launch is the 12th out of 19 planned under the contract with the Arianespace company.
