Apple Music has compiled a special Christmas compilation of Russian songs. The playlist includes New Year's cover versions of hits by Russian performers who topped the music charts in 2021.
This time Vanya Dmitrienko, Niletto, Markul, Lilu45, Ivan Dorn, Dorofeeva, Mot, Dead Blonde, Prosto Lera, Max Barskikh, as well as Zvonkiy & Marie Kraimbreri got into the project called “On a Festive Note”.
To present their most popular songs in a New Year's arrangement, our performers had to give free rein to their imaginations and put a lot of effort. For example, to make his hit "Venus-Jupiter" sound especially, Vanya Dmitrienko invited an orchestra to record. In turn, Lilu45 added the sound of bells to the musical accompaniment of her song "Eight" to create a festive mood.
