According to JATO Dynamics, in November the total volume of the EU light transport market decreased by 18% to 855,281 vehicles compared to the same month last year, while in November 2020 there was a decrease of 29% compared to the same month in 2019. ...

Nonetheless, electric vehicles are selling very well in Europe. The share of registrations of cars with the possibility of external electric recharging was 26% this month - the regulators added 217,709 electric vehicles to the databases, including hybrids equipped with charging ports and more exotic types of electric vehicles. According to experts, the steady growth in demand for electric vehicles is partly due to the growing interest of the population in this type of car, partly - by the initiatives of governments and manufacturers, stimulating the transition to new modes of transport.
