The American aerospace company SpaceX has once again launched a batch of Starlink communication satellites into orbit. At 15:19 Moscow time, 53 spacecraft took off from the launch site at Cape Canaveral, soon after which the first stage of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle made a soft landing on a special floating platform.
This launch was SpaceX's 25th this year, and ninth for the first stage of the rocket. Initially, the mission to launch the Starlink satellites into outer space was planned for Friday. However, due to bad weather conditions in the missile launch area, the launch was postponed.
About nine minutes after launch, the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket returned to Earth, landing on a floating platform called Just Read the Instructions. It is noteworthy that earlier this week, SpaceX and NASA conducted another launch as part of the Crew-3 mission and delivered a crew of four astronauts to the International Space Station.
.
The next launch of SpaceX satellites was carried out as part of the Starlink constellation expansion program, which is used to provide broadband Internet access services in different countries of the world. To date, SpaceX has sold more than 100,000 terminals to connect to the Starlink network of 1,844 satellites. In the future, the company plans to expand the orbital constellation by launching thousands more communication devices into space.
