Microsoft is bringing Xbox FPS Boost to the cloud. The company today launched a new feature for 33 games on Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud). FPS Boost will be available in popular games such as Fallout4, Fallout 74 and The Evil Within 2. Until now, the feature has been exclusive to the Xbox Series X and Series S. comparable to the latest generation of Microsoft consoles.
While Microsoft has raised frame rates in some backward-compatible games, FPS Boost enhances older games without the need for developers to tweak them. Microsoft today also added 76 new games to the Xbox Backward Compatibility Library and has included FPS Boost on 37 new games on Xbox Series X and Series S consoles.
