Instagram will allow everyone to post photos from computers - 11 years after launch

The function was added 11 years after the launch. The company previously tested the option, but now users will be able to use it on October 21. Authors will be able to publish photos and videos no more than a minute in length, just like from mobile devices.

The company has also added a number of other changes. From today, that is, from October 19, the Collabs function has appeared in the service, which allows two users to publish joint posts or videos in Reels with shared comments and likes. Note that the second account you want to post with must give permission to do so. From the 20th, Instagram will allow fundraising for non-profit organizations. Also new options for Reels videos will become available.
