Western Digital introduced the WD Elements SE SSD, a new portable storage solution that combines compact format and performance. According to the company, this miniature device will be the perfect solution for those users who have long been looking for a portable drive to quickly move files.
With read speeds of up to 400MB / s and capacities up to 2TB, the new portable SSD allows customers to transfer large files quickly. The model is made in plug-and-play format. This means the drive is ready to use right out of the box and can be integrated into any workflow. The maximum speed, however, can only be achieved with a USB 3.0 connection. The dimensions of the model are 64.5 x 64.5 x 8.72 mm.
A distinctive feature of the WD Elements SE SSD is a miniature portable case that protects the device from drops up to 2 meters. Paying tribute to Western Digital's tradition of reliability in storage devices, the drive comes with a limited international three-year warranty.
