ASRock's C621A WS motherboard is compatible with the new Xeon W-3300 processors , allowing you to build a workstation or server based on it. The C621A WS has an Intel Socket LGA 4189, also called Socket P +.
In addition, the motherboard offers four PCI Express 4.0 x16 and three PCI Express 4.0 x8. ASRock installed two interfaces for M.2 SSD and eight DDR4 DIMM slots, the total RAM capacity can be up to 2TB, 8-channel connection. The C621A WS motherboard offers two 10Gbps LAN ports for network connectivity via an Intel X710 ATX controller. There are also two conventional 1Gbps Ethernet ports via an Intel I210 controller.
In addition to M.2 slots, two SATA 3 ports are available for connecting drives. There is also a Mini-SAS HD port.
As for other interfaces, there are two USB Type-C available on the motherboard for the case and four USB 3.2 G1 Type-A on the back. The AST-2500 controller from Aspeed is responsible for the D-SUB video output and motherboard control. The price and release date for ASRock C621A WS have yet to be announced.
