Neo Forza has announced the release of new low power DDR5 memory modules. It is noted that these modules comply with JEDEC specifications for use in enterprise, cloud and Big Data applications.
According to Willy Tseng, CTO of Goldkey Technology Corporation, the DDR5-4800 8GB, 16GB and 32GB models will first enter the market. After that, it is expected to increase the capacity to 128 GB in total (64 GB per channel).
The launch is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year. In the future, models with frequencies from 4800 to 8600 MHz are expected. At the same time, it is noted that the new memory modules have a good overclocking margin and will work stably.
At the moment, there is no information about the prices for the new memory. However, it will most likely be significantly more expensive than DDR4.
