Chinese semiconductor manufacturers shipped over 31 billion chips in July

Chinese semiconductor companies continue to amaze with the rate of increase in domestic production. Every month China has seen an increase in the number of ICs supplied and last month was no exception.

Semiconductor manufacturers, including 3D NAND, DRAM and logic components, shipped a record 31.6 billion integrated circuits in July, according to the South China Morning Post . This is 41.3% more than in July last year. More than one billion microcircuits were manufactured in China every day during July.

In seven months of this year, China produced 203 billion microcircuits. This is 47.3% more than was produced last year, and the end of this year is not yet soon. This is an excellent indicator given that the country's largest manufacturer, SMIC, cannot easily purchase the necessary equipment, since it is on the US blacklist.
