Acer is reported to be releasing the Predator XR383CUR gaming-grade monitor featuring a 38-inch 21: 9 aspect ratio display.
The device has a concave shape: the radius of curvature is 2500R. Thanks to this, a deep effect of immersion in the virtual space is achieved. The resolution is 3840 × 1600 pixels.
The panel has a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a response time of 1 ms (GTG). 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space is claimed. The brightness is 450 cd / m 2 .
It talks about compatibility with FreeSync and G-Sync technologies, which are responsible for improving the smoothness of the gameplay and eliminating the effect of tearing in the frame. The stand allows you to adjust the tilt and swivel angles of the screen, as well as change the height in relation to the table surface.
The monitor is equipped with a USB 3.0 Type-C port with the ability to supply up to 65W of power: this port can be connected to a laptop. There are two HDMI 2.1 interfaces, a DisplayPort 1.4 connector and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. The equipment includes 7 W stereo speakers each.
Sales of new items will begin this autumn. The Acer Predator XR383CUR will be priced at around 1,700 euros.
