New items are made in ATX format and have small dimensions - 140 x 150 x 86 mm. Made in a metal case, the power supplies use the now widespread DC-DC technology with a half-bridge topology and Japanese capacitors. The model is also interesting for its fully modular cable connection, which is not typical for this segment. A 120mm FDB fan is used for cooling. Speed regulation is automatic, depending on temperature and power consumption.

All three power supplies use one 12V line. The load along it is up to 45.5 A for the 550 W version, up to 54 A for the 650 W version and up to 62.5 A for the older 750 W model. Chieftronic also did not deprive new products of various protective schemes: OCP (overcurrent protection), OPP (general overload protection), OTP (overheating protection), OVP (overvoltage protection), UVP (undervoltage protection) and SCP (protection from short circuit). Not without SIP (surge protection). In terms of energy efficiency, SteelPower's power supplies meet the 80+ Bronze certification requirements.

Chieftronic has not yet announced the exact dates of sales and prices, incl. and about availability in Russia. At the moment, it is known that SteelPower PSUs will go on sale in September this year and will have a 5-year warranty.
