NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang honored with Robert Noyce Award

 Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA, has received the prestigious Robert Noyce Award from the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA). It is awarded annually to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the semiconductor industry in terms of technology or government policy.

“ Jensen Huang 's extraordinary vision and relentless execution have greatly strengthened our industry, revolutionizing computing and advanced artificial intelligence. Jensen's accomplishments have led to countless innovations - from games to scientific computing to self-driving cars - and he continues to develop technologies that will change our industry and the world. We are delighted to recognize Jensen with the 2021 Robert Noyce Award for his many achievements in the development of semiconductor technology. ”- John Neuffer, President and CEO, SIA.



Previously, the Robert Noyce Award went to four Intel executives, three from IBM and Texas Instruments, and two from AMD, Applied Materials and Micron. Last year, it was awarded to Lisa Su, CEO of AMD. Jen-Hsun Huang will accept the award at the SIA Awards Dinner on November 18th.
