The first hybrid processors AMD Ryzen tested in benchmark
In anticipation of the rapid start of sales of the first Ryzen desktop processors with integrated Vega graphics, the chips were at the disposal of Chinese insiders. They did not waste time in sharing with the whole world details about future innovations, having published photos of processors and testing them in a benchmark.
The packaging design of the hybrid Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G resembles that of last year's Ryzen processors. At the top, you can see the Radeon Vega logo.
Let's recall the technical characteristics of both chips:
Ryzen 5 2400G has a maximum clock speed of 3.6 GHz with overclocking up to 3.9 GHz, 8 streams, and 11 computational units;
Ryzen 3 2200G operates at 3.5 GHz with overclocking to 3.7 GHz, has 4 streams and 8 computational units.
Both chipsets received support for DDR4-2933 memory.
In the complete set of processors, the firm cooler Wraith Stealth is delivered.
In the 3DMark benchmark, the youngest Ryzen 3 2200G showed results comparable to the top-end mobile processor Ryzen 7 2700U. But Ryzen 5 2400G left behind all the "notebook" solutions from AMD.
The start of sales of Ryzen 5 2400G and 3 2200G is scheduled for February 12 at a price of $ 169 and $ 99 respectively.
Very nice and cool chipset ! With nice AMD processor and a lot of qualities features.
