OUR OPINION

OneDrive user can store up to 15 Gb for free. If you think this is not enough, you can buy another 100GB (R$ 5.00), 200GB (R$ 10.00) and 1TB (R$ 17.00). Values are monthly. Regardless of the space chosen, it allows data synchronization between all platforms where the user logs in with a Microsoft account.

In Windows 8.1, just right-click anywhere on the screen and then "add files". If you want, you can create a “new folder” first, select it, and then upload the files to the directory. This way, your profile on the server will be organized more efficiently.

With iCloud, back up your data and access it from anywhere

On mobile devices, the icons are the same, there is obviously no need to right-click. After all, they are already available to the user, automatically, in the menus. It is possible to create a “new folder” and also “upload photos and videos” or “upload files” on Android.

On iOS, the look is cleaner, with slightly different options in the menu compared to Android, such as: Files, Backup, Recents, Shared and Settings. Navigation is also very simple, and it is possible to upload and download files, exactly the same way as on other platforms.

And, if desired, the user can activate the automatic backup of photos clicked with smartphones on OneDrive. As soon as you log in for the first time in the application, it is possible to activate this functionality and the images will be saved in the service profile automatically, whenever they are photographed.

In addition to manually saving files by dragging them to the service's folders, it is also compatible with several programs, for desktop and mobile, that transfer documents directly to OneDrive. All are listed on this Microsoft site. And no matter how they're sent, they can be opened on any gadget.

Just tap (on touchscreen devices) or click to download and save the documents on the device you're browsing. It doesn't have an app to view all documents, but photos and videos can be opened using OneDrive itself, without the need for external programs.

Microsoft's cloud storage service is very complete, multiplatform and, most importantly, free, with 15 Gb available to anyone who registers with a Microsoft account profile. In addition to the applications, the software also has a web version, which is accessible from any browser in a very simple way.

If you need to store several files, download OneDrive for free right now!
