Google continues to work on making the YouTube Premium subscription even more popular. The company immediately introduced 5 new features that will become available to users who decide to pay for a premium video hosting account.
- YouTube Premium subscribers on mobile devices will be able to add videos to playlists, the playback order of which can be edited.
- Integration with Google Meet has appeared - joint video viewing is available through the service. Moreover, it is not necessary for all session participants to have a Premium account, it is enough for one person to own it, who will send invitations to the rest.
- YouTube will begin to remember at what point the user stopped while watching the video. Having started watching a video, for example, on a PC, the user will be able to continue from the right moment from the smartphone if he is logged in under the same account on both devices.
- A new Smart Downloads feature has been launched that automatically saves recommended videos to your library for offline viewing.
- Users on iOS will be able to watch videos in 1080p Premium resolution with an increased bitrate. This will greatly improve the quality of the picture, especially in those videos where there is a lot of detail and movement.
