Tim Blake Nelson joins the cast of Dune: Part 2

 Watchmen star joins team that already has Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh and more

Star of productions like Watchmen and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs , Tim Blake Nelson is the newest name in the cast of Dune: Part 2 . Denis Villeneuve 's feature opens in November this year, continuing the journey of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) through the deserts of Arrakis.

Nelson joins other newcomers to the cast including Florence Pugh , Austin Butler , Léa Seydoux and Christopher Walken . The character of the star has not yet been revealed. Returning from the first film are Zendaya , Rebecca Ferguson , Javier Bardem and more (via THR ).

Tim Blake Nelson stood out as the policeman Looking Glass in the series of Watchmen on HBO. He is also confirmed in Captain America: New World Order (2024), Anthony Mackie 's first film as the Marvel hero.

Dune: Part 2 hits US theaters on November 3.
