The decisions of Western companies to stop sales of games in the Russian Federation caused dissatisfaction not only among the Russians themselves. The Steam administration has recorded a surge of negative reviews for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077 coming from Chinese users.
Due to the large number of reviews on the pages of both games, the release of negative reviews did not greatly affect the final rating of titles, but their total number exceeds several thousand. Mostly the negative comes from users from China - they accuse CD Projekt RED of a politically biased decision to suspend sales of games in the Russian Federation and consider the company hypocritical.
On the pages of titles of other publishers that have made a similar decision, such anomalies have not been recorded. It is also worth considering that in China, gamers have a special love for CD Projekt RED - local players even gave the company the nickname "Stubborn Polish Donkey". However, the nickname did not have a negative connotation: this is how the Chinese emphasized the hard work of the company that released free updates for their games.
