Deputy Prime Minister of Poland offered to send an armed NATO mission to Ukraine

The leader of the ruling Law and Justice party in Poland, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Yaroslav Kaczynski proposed sending an armed NATO peacekeeping mission to Ukraine. He stated this on March 15 at a briefing in Kyiv following negotiations with the country's leadership.

“I think that we need a peacekeeping mission of NATO or, perhaps, of some broader composition, which will be able to defend itself, which, with the consent of the president and government of this country, will operate on the territory of Ukraine,” said the politician, whose speech was broadcast by Telewizja Polska .

“This will not be an unarmed mission. It will serve the world, deliver humanitarian aid, but it will also be protected by the appropriate forces, the armed forces,” he said.
