Launched late last month , the Kirin 9000L-powered HUAWEI Mate 40E Pro has been listed on Geekbench. The test results allow you to evaluate the real performance of a branded smartphone chip and compare it with other solutions from different brands.
According to the source, according to the results of testing in Geekbench 5, the mobile platform scored 950 and 2815 points in single- and multi-threaded discipline, respectively. This is close to last year's MediaTek flagship Dimensity 1200.
The Kirin 9000L is a slightly stripped down version of the Kirin 9000 chip with a lower peak clock speed (2.86GHz vs 3.13GHz). Its GPU is also slightly less powerful: the Mali-G78 has 18 cores, as opposed to the 24 and 22 cores of the Kirin 9000 and Kirin 9000E. The SoC configuration includes one Cortex-A77 core clocked at 2.86GHz, a pair of Cortex-A77 (2.54GHz) and three Cortex-A55 (2.05GHz).
The Huawei Mate 40E Pro 5G is already on sale for $1,020 in a single 8GB/256GB configuration. It is equipped with a 6.76-inch OLED display, a triple camera and a 4400mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.
