Two helicopters of the Russian Federation were shot down in the north of Kyiv. This was announced in the telegram channel by the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko.
In total, according to the tentative data of the Ministry of Defense, the total losses of Russia in the air over the previous three days of the war (February 24-26) amounted to: 27 aircraft and 26 helicopters.
- The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that Russia has arranged a regrouping of troops for a new attack on Kiev. For this purpose, 10 helicopters and two An-124 aircraft have been deployed to the Machulishchi airfield in Belarus, and four Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Baranovichi airfield.
- The commander of the defense of Kyiv is Colonel General Alexander Sirsky, the commandant of the defense is Colonel Sergei Sobko.
- In the first three days of a full-scale war, Russian troops fired more than 250 ballistic missiles at targets on Ukrainian territory, according to US authorities. One of them hit the KLO oil depot in Kryachki yesterday , not far from Vasilkov.
