Germany, China and France sent more than 50 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Thus, more than 20 tons of humanitarian aid came to Volodymyr-Volynsky from Germany, to Lvov - 5 tons, to Uman from China - about 9 tons, to Zaporozhye from France - more than 13 tons, to Berdychiv from Germany - 5 tons.

Minister of Social Policy Marina Lazebnaya said that as a result of a change in the procedure for recognizing cargoes as humanitarian aid, they began to arrive in a fundamentally shorter time.

In the past few days, humanitarian aid has been received to meet the urgent needs of people in food, clothing, first aid supplies and others.

In the coming days, several thousand tons of goods necessary for the Territorial Defense will also arrive on the territory of Ukraine: body armor, walkie-talkies, helmets, tents, blankets, mats, sleeping bags, blankets, dry toilets, rubber gloves, the ministry added.

To quickly meet the needs of humanitarian assistance, the National Coordinating Humanitarian Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers is working. The headquarters collects and constantly updates data on priority needs from all regions of Ukraine and opportunities for businesses, partners and donors to provide assistance.

  • On February 26, Belgium sent 3,800 tons of fuel and 2,000 machine guns to Ukraine. Georgia also sent a cargo of medicines worth $320,000 to Ukraine.
