Sony LinkBuds WF-L900

The main feature of the Sony LinkBuds WF-L900 is that the headphones have a hole in the middle of the speaker, and the protective membrane cover is integrated directly into the case. This design allows ambient sound to enter the user's ear unhindered, providing a "presence effect". At the same time, the novelty does not have inserts - the toric part of the device is responsible for sound reproduction, and the spherical part with a silicone mount is for holding it in the ear canal.

According to the insider, the 12mm ring driver is equipped with a highly flexible diaphragm, so it can produce a balanced and rich sound without bass problems. The Sony V1 processor is responsible for the performance of the novelty, providing a low level of distortion and high detail. The device also uses Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) technology, thanks to which even highly compressed compositions should sound good. In addition, the headphones provide automatic volume control depending on the level of ambient noise.

A separate algorithm is responsible for clear reproduction and recording of sound, as well as the suppression of ambient noise during phone calls. The LinkBuds feature a unique touch control system that doesn't require touching the headphone housing itself. The user only needs to touch the front of the ear to perform actions on the playlist, adjust the volume or make a call.

Each earbud weighs only four grams. The gadget is protected from moisture according to the IPX4 standard, that is, it is not afraid of splashes. Support for Alexa and Google Assistant voice assistants, Google Fast Pair and HD Voice technologies is also announced. The autonomy of Sony LinBuds is up to 5.5 hours. An additional 12 hours will provide a charging case.

It is indicated that the headphones will cost a little less than €200.
