Together with the flagship smartphone Find X5 Pro, the company introduced its more affordable version. It differs from the older model in the hardware platform and some other parameters, but it is equipped with an almost identical camera with a proprietary coprocessor and Hasselblad calibration.
OPPO Find X5 is based on the Snapdragon 888 processor, and is presented in the European region in the 8/256 GB memory configuration. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.55-inch OLED display with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The back cover of the novelty is made of frosted glass, resistant to fingerprints. The front panel also houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera (Sony IMX615) with a viewing angle of 81°.
The main camera of the gadget includes the same two 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensors as in the Pro version (1 / 1.56 inch pixel size 1.0 microns), but equipped with a traditional OIS system. The set of optics is complemented by a 13-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens. At the same time, the device also received a MariSilicon X image processor and Hasselblad settings similar to the firmware.
The battery capacity of OPPO Find X5 is 4800 mAh. It supports the same 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging and 30W AirVOOC wireless charging. The firmware uses the ColorOS 12.1 software shell based on Android 12 with the Multi-Screen Connect function, which allows you to easily switch between a smartphone and a Windows PC. The device, unlike its older version, did not receive protection from water and dust.
The cost of OPPO Find X5, presented in black and white cases, is €1000.
