Digital sales reach significant numbers compared to those of Horizon Zero Dawn.
According to recent reports from specialist firms, Horizon Forbidden West broke records in digital media sales after its first week of release. It is estimated that almost 50% of the total distribution of the title in this period was through the PS Store , taking it to the first place in the ranking of most downloaded games in the store in the United Kingdom.
Weekly results did not reveal the number of copies sold for Horizon Forbidden West, but there is talk of twice as many sales of Zero Dawn , based on similar periods. It is worth remembering that the first title in the franchise also did exceptionally well in sales in the region and topped weekly lists numerous times during the first half of its release.
