Many players are locked out due to the physical game region.
Many players who own a disc copy of the PlayStation 4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 are having trouble installing the PlayStation 5 version.
The heart of the problem lies in the region of the PS4 version's disc, which may not match the region of the player's PlayStation Network account.
CD Projekt Red is aware of this issue , and for now recommends players create a PlayStation Network account that matches the region of the PS4 game disc. You can consult the different versions of the game for all regions.
"For disc owners in order to download the Next Gen update your disc's CUSA (PlayStation) code must match your PlayStation account region."
This solution is not ideal, but unfortunately it is the only solution for now.
