The realme 9 series has been expanded with a new low-cost model called the realme 9i. It is equipped with a Snapdragon processor, LCD-matrix with an increased refresh rate, a 5000 mAh battery and supports the possibility of expanding the built-in storage with memory cards.
The realme 9i has a 6.6-inch LCD screen with Full HD + resolution and support for dynamic refresh rate changes of 30/48/50/60/90 Hz. In the corner of the display is a cutout for a 16MP front camera. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button.
The smartphone is powered by an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It is possible to increase the amount of RAM by another 5 GB due to the built-in 128 GB UFS 2.2 storage. The latter can be expanded using microSD cards. Responsible for autonomy is a 5000 mAh battery with support for 33 W fast charging. All this fits into a case that is 8.4 mm thick and weighs 190 g.
The main camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels. In addition to it, there are two more 2 megapixel modules for shooting in portrait and macro modes. Among other features, the presence of stereo speakers is indicated. The device comes with Android 11 and the proprietary realmeUI 2.0 interface.
The new realme 9i is only available in one version - with 6 + 128 GB - priced at $ 286. While it is presented only in Vietnam, but it is expected to release in other regions.
