Panasonic brought its flagship LZ2000 TV series to CES 2022. In addition to OLED displays, their features are factory color calibration, AI functions to improve picture quality, as well as a set of gaming technologies for working in conjunction with consoles and PCs.
The Panasonic LZ2000 is available in 55, 65 and 77 inches. All new products feature image optimization depending on the color temperature of the lighting. Smart algorithm Auto AI, focusing on the readings of the sensor built into the TV, automatically adjusts the image so that it looks as natural as possible.
In addition, artificial intelligence adjusts the picture and sound parameters depending on the type of content displayed on the display. The TVs are also equipped with a panoramic sound system with support for Dolby Atmos technology.
LZ2000 family models support Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Vision, HDR10 + Adaptive and HLG Photo. The Filmmaker Mode is also provided for correcting the color rendition when watching movies. Gamers will come in handy with a special panel that displays the frame rate, HDR metadata, and also allows you to enable additional functions.
For example, Dark Visibility Enhancer can be used to adjust the contrast of black areas of the screen, and SPD Auto Game Mode allows you to minimize input lag. The new items are also equipped with HDMI 2.1 ports for better compatibility with powerful PCs and the current generation of game consoles. Panasonic will announce the pricing and availability of the new OLED TVs in different regions at a later date.
