At the recent CES 2022 exhibition, the Canadian company Damon Motors introduced the new HyperFighter Colossus electric bike. The developers promise a top speed of up to 275 km/h and a power reserve of 235 kW. All this is seasoned with an aggressive design.
The model is equipped with HyperDrive transmission and the patented CoPilot system. Designed by Damon Motors, it is a 360-degree advanced warning system that combines several technologies at once. Damon Motors CEO Jay Giraud is confident that their new line of electric motorcycles will revolutionize the market.
The base model is slated to sell for $35,000. More affordable models will be released later, priced between $19,000 and $25,000. Pre-orders can be made with a $250 deposit, but no production start date has yet been announced.
However, Damon Motors in 2019 already presented the first prototype of its electric sports bike. Then its cost was within $40,000, and the first deliveries were promised in two years. As is now known, the company did not keep its promises on terms. Whether she can then convince future potential clients to invest remains a mystery.
