The development team of the once sensational smartphone Essential Phone has announced a new gadget under its own brand OSOM. Representatives of the company, which did not include "Android father" Andy Rubin, showed the first image of the device and revealed some of its features.
Jason Keats, founder of the OSOM Products startup, said that the new product, like the Essential PH-1, will run Android with Google services. At the same time, the creators of the gadget paid special attention to the privacy of data: the user will have access to detailed reports on what information on the device various services and applications access.
The smartphone, which its creators showed only from the back cover, will receive a dual main camera and a hardware fingerprint scanner. It is known that the gadget will be built on the basis of a Qualcomm processor, but the company has not yet disclosed the exact name of the mobile platform. The manufacturer promises to tell more details about the new product during the Mobile World Congress 2022 conference , which will be held in February 2022.
