Instagram is launching a Playback feature that will allow social media users to share the top ten stories of 2021 with their followers. The service will independently generate a collection, but users will be able to edit it by deleting or adding stories from the archive.

Social network users will see a message in their Instagram feed inviting them to create a selection of the best stories of the outgoing year. Unfortunately, this year Instagram again does not offer users to create a collage of the best photos of the year. This function, which is quite popular among users of the social network, can be implemented thanks to third-party services, however, they often require access to personal information in return. Instagram has built-in collage maker tools, but they don't automatically generate a selection of the best photos for a calendar year.
The Playback feature will be available to all Instagram users starting Thursday, according to the company.
