At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Porshe unveiled two new electric vehicles: the Taycan GTS and the Sport Turismo. The new Taycan will be the first in the series to travel more than 500 kilometers on a single charge. An interesting feature of the model is the glass roof with anti-glare function.
The new Taycan GTS and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo are powered by two electric motors with a total output of 598 horsepower and a 93.4 kWh battery providing a range of up to 504 kilometers. Regardless of the body type, cars can accelerate from standstill to 100 km / h in 3.7 seconds. The maximum declared speed is 250 km / h. The manufacturer indicates that these will be all-electric vehicles.
An original option in the Taycan GTS is the panoramic roof with Sunshine Control. It is covered with a special liquid crystal film, which allows you to make the roof matte and protect passengers from the glare of the sun's rays, without darkening the interior. In addition, the roof itself is divided into 9 segments, each of which can be controlled separately, which was not previously available in any car.
Electric cars will go on sale in the spring of 2022. Prices for the base Taycan GTS and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo start at € 131,834 and € 132,786, respectively.
