Console release of SpellForce 3 Reforced postponed until March, and PC version will be released according to plan

Publisher THQ Nordic and developers from the Munich studio Grimlore Games announced the postponement of the release of their RPG strategy SpellForce 3 Reforced on consoles of the past and present generations.

Recall SpellForce 3 Reforced is an improved version of the original SpellForce 3. The edition was announced in August and was expected to be released on December 7 simultaneously on PC and consoles.

As it became known, SpellForce 3 Reforced will debut on December 6 on PC (owners of the base game will receive a free update), and will reach PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S on March 8, 2022.

Reforced will offer improvements (quests, co-op, balance, mechanics, skill tree and interface), support for mods and a controller, as well as new content: a map for battles, travel modes and arenas.

The console version also promises to implement intuitive control and adapt the interface. The Soul Harvest and Fallen God add-ons will be available for purchase both separately and as part of the full edition.
