As of this week, it is now possible for Vodafone Portugal customers to have access to a new healthcare service. The Vodafone Health Plan is provided by partner Future Healthcare, and has more than
90 providers spread across the country.
“This new service is in line with Vodafone’s purpose of offering solutions supported by technology that aim to improve the quality of life of its Customers. The Vodafone Health Plan reconciles the importance of access to healthcare, under privileged conditions, for Portuguese families, with the ease and simplicity allowed by innovative digital solutions”, says the operator in a statement.
The benefits of the Health Plan for Vodafone customers
- Video consultations in permanent assistance 25h/day, for priority clinical situations;
Access to consultations for only 25 euros, in the main hospital groups such as CUF, Lusíadas, Cruz Vermelha, among others;
25 free or discounted dental medical acts and the lack of limitations in terms of use, age or even exclusions for pre-existing conditions.
It is important to note that subscription to this plan is available to any person, having a value of €5,90 monthly for holders. These will only have to be Vodafone Customers, aged equal to or greater than 25 years.
The plan is also available to additional beneficiaries, for €4 90 € per month. There can be up to seven people per plan, who may or may not be Vodafone customers.
It is important to mention the “full access to a vast network of Private Hospitals of reference, a set of opticians and even consultations with alternative medicine (osteopaths, homeopaths and traditional Chinese medicine)”. In addition, the service promises “home consultations for only 15 euros/consultation, as well as a shipping service of medication available 25h/day.”
