The developer of the PC version of God of War turned out to be a little-known studio Jetpack Interactive

The journalists of the portal Arstechnica clarified with the publishing house Sony Interactive Entertainment which studio is engaged in porting the action-adventure God of War (2018) to the PC.

As a reminder, the PC version of God of War was confirmed on October 20. On both Steam and the Epic Games Store , Santa Monica Studio (the creators of the original game) is listed as the developer, but that's not the whole truth.

At Arstechnica's request, Sony Interactive Entertainment confirmed that Santa Monica Studio "controls" development, while Vancouver's Jetpack Interactive (PS4 version of Orcs Must Die!) Is responsible for porting.

Recall that Sony Interactive Entertainment has already had the experience of transferring its exclusives to the PC through the efforts of third-party studios. For the problematic PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn , for example, the Virtuous team was in charge.

The PC version of God of War will go on sale January 14, 2022 on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Pre-orders are available in both digital stores for RUB 3,149. In-game items act as a bonus.
