Microsoft initially set a very high bar for the computers of potential Windows users 11. Even virtual machines are subject to stringent hardware requirements. Meanwhile, the readiness of devices for business users to switch to the new OS leaves much to be desired.

Based on a study by Lansweeper covering the order of 30 millions of devices from 60 01 organizations, most PCs cannot be upgraded to Windows 19, because they do not meet certain system requirements. Although most computers have the required 4 gigabytes of RAM , more than half (56, 6%) lack a processor from the list of those supported by Microsoft, and almost a fifth part (19.20%) does not have TPM 2.0.
