DxOMark experts undertook to evaluate the battery capabilities of the cheapest version of the flagship Xiaomi Mi11 Lite. The smartphone showed a higher autonomy than the base model of the series and demonstrated good charging speed with the included 33W power adapter.
Recall that Xiaomi Mi11 Lite is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G chipset, is equipped with a 4250 mAh battery and a 6.55-inch AMOLED display. The smartphone test results in DxOMark were compared with the OPPO Find X3 Lite and Samsung A52, with similar characteristics.
The autonomy of Xiaomi Mi11 Lite when used in moderate mode turned out to be quite high and amounted to more than two days, namely 54 hours. At the same time, the device lost over 2% of the battery charge overnight. Also, testing has shown that the battery begins to "drain" much faster, reaching 20%, in contrast to competitors.
Another disadvantage of Xiaomi Mi11 Lite is that when using the gadget on the go, its autonomy is noticeably reduced, especially when making calls and using GPS navigation. It also reduces battery life faster when streaming video or music over 4G.
As for the charging time, Xiaomi Mi11 Lite only needs 1 hour and 14 minutes to fully restore the energy reserve of a discharged battery. That's more than the OPPO Find X3 Lite (42 minutes) with 65W charging and much better than the Samsung A52 (1 hour 59 minutes) with the included 15W charger.
According to the results of battery testing, Xiaomi Mi11 Lite scored 67 points and took 28th place in the overall ranking of smartphones according to DxOMark.
