The world's most efficient fan made from an air car wing

A British startup has unexpectedly pushed back plans for an electric vertical takeoff aircraft. Instead, it was decided to release a household fan using existing developments.

The main feature of the technology presented by the Volerian engineers was a moving wing installation. This was to improve the efficiency of the aircraft by increasing lift and reducing energy consumption. The idea of an airplane is still in development, but instead, a startup offers to buy the best fan for blowing a room.

Inside there is a system that resembles moving blinds, the constant vibrations of which create an air flow. This is similar to the tail of a fish, with the power being adjusted using the rails. Plus, the fan easily tilts up and down for added comfort. The device is completely safe even with direct contact of a person or pet with the mechanism.

At the moment, a fundraiser is being held on the Indiegogo site, where they ask $ 327 for the most efficient fan. If enough people are willing, the first deliveries will begin in the summer of 2022. Volerian notes that the energy consumption is no higher than that of standard fans, but the air flow is twice as powerful and the noise generated is lower.
