The iFixit laboratory has recently received new Apple smartphones for review, and experts have already begun disassembling the iPhone 13 Pro model. They found several significant changes in the internal design of the gadget at once compared to its predecessor.
As the authors of the video note , when developing new products, Apple used the internal space of their cases as efficiently as possible. Thanks to this, the manufacturer was able to increase the capacity of the built-in battery of smartphones, practically without changing their size in comparison with last year's models. Another important feature of the series is the new main camera modules.
The changes also affected the displays of gadgets - the company equipped the Pro-series with panels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. IFixit also noted that the updated Taptic Engine tactile module is heavier than its predecessor: its weight has increased from 4.8 to 6.3 grams. At the same time, the company moved the speaker inside the case, making it easier to replace the iPhone display.
According to the results of the "autopsy", the exact capacity of the L-shaped battery of the iPhone 13 Pro became known - it is 11.97 Wh versus 10.78 Wh for last year's model. At the same time, experts denied rumors about the impossibility of replacing the battery of the new Apple flagship - as it turned out, this operation does not cause any special problems. The more compact iPhone 13 received a traditional rectangular battery.
