Honor has updated its MagicBook series of laptops with three models at once. All of them received productive processors and displays with an increased refresh rate, and the older model of the series provides the opportunity to choose a discrete video card up to a gaming GeForce RTX 30 with support for ray tracing.
Honor MagicBook 14
Honor MagicBook V14 in an aluminum case is equipped with a 14.2-inch LTPS-screen with a resolution of 2.5K and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The laptop is presented in versions based on Intel Core i5-11320H and Core i7-11390H processors with an optional NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics accelerator. The new items have 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of solid state drive.
Other features of the model include a four-speaker speaker system, an advanced low-noise cooler, a fingerprint scanner and a 60Wh battery with support for 65W fast charging. To improve the quality of video communication, the manufacturer has equipped the new product with a 5-megapixel webcam with wide-angle optics.
The 16.1-inch MagicBook 16 and 16 Pro have screens with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Like the more compact model, laptops are offered in several modifications. The buyer can choose between versions with AMD Ryzen 5 5600H or Ryzen 7 5800H processors, as well as between integrated and discrete graphics (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or RTX 3050, only for firmware).
The maximum memory configuration of new products is 16/512 GB. Both laptops support 135-watt fast charging, are equipped with fingerprint scanners and a wide range of interface connectors. The Intel Core i5 version of the MagicBook 14 is priced at $ 958. The manufacturer estimated the younger model of the MagicBook 16 series at $ 773, and the price of the Honor MagicBook 16 Pro starts at $ 1004. The new items will go on sale on October 8, 2021.
