Lamborghini has announced the release of teasers with a special product to attend the Montgomery Auto Week conference. This car is not a model except for the redesigned version of Kantash, which is to be sold in limited numbers. But the strange thing is that before the official unveiling, the pictures of the new Kantash were leaked and an Instagram account revealed it!
You may know that Kantash, or more properly Kontash, was on the production line from 1974 to 1990, during which time 1983 units were produced. This car was somewhat beyond its time due to its wedge-shaped body and sharp body lines, and was highly regarded due to its different style.
Not many details of the new Kantash are available at the moment, but Lamborghini claims to make dreams come true, just like the classic Kantash of the 1970s.
As can be seen from the leaked images, the Cantash 2021 is based on the Lamborghini Cyan and is very similar to it in the rear view. Of course, Cian was originally developed based on the Ontador, and it is not unreasonable to describe the new Cantash as the same Ontador in a different outfit!
In general, it should be said that Lamborghini designers have tried to combine the main features of the classic Cantash with the elements of the day. This makes the updated version a more fluid body, which certainly has a positive effect on aerodynamics.
According to one of the official teasers released by Lamborghini, the modern Kantash will have the code LP 800-4 at the end of its name. This code can mean 800 horsepower and all-wheel drive. The Supercar Blog claims that the car will be powered by the same 6.5-liter V12 engine and soft hybrid system used in the Cyan model. It is very likely that this claim will come true; Because the Cyan engine produces just over 800 horsepower.
It is said that Lamborghini will launch only 112 Kantas 2021 units. The price of this car is estimated at $ 3.5 million.
